Semaglutide

What is Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a medication used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes and chronic weight management. It works by helping the pancreas release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. Insulin keeps your blood glucose levels within a normal range. Insulin moves the glucose out of your bloodstream and into cells throughout your body. The cells use the glucose for energy and the excess stores in your liver, muscles, and fat tissue.
