CJC 1295

CJC 1295 is an analog of growth hormone releasing hormone and a growth hormone secretagogue.  It results in an increase in plasma growth hormone levels with a lesser effect on secretion of IGF-1 levels.  CJC-1295 is available in two different forms, referred to as with or without Drug Affinity Complex (DAC).  CJC is most commonly prescribed without DAC.  The presence of DAC increases the half-life of CJC-1295 from 30 minutes to 6-8 days.  While this may seem ideal, this elongated half-life actually makes dosing more difficult and less predictable.  CJC-1295 has a low side effect profile with minimal impact on hunger, cortisol levels, acetylcholine, prolactin or aldosterone production.  It was originally used to treat muscle disorders, burns and a variety of other diseases.  CJC gained further popularity in the discovery that it allows the anterior pituitary gland to follow its natural, pulsatile release of growth hormone and hence the benefits experienced.

CJC 1295/Ipamorelin

CJC 1295 with its low side effect profile, increased half life in comparison to Sermorelin, and dramatic results, is rapidly increasing in popularity. It is common to find CJC-1295 in combination with Ipamorelin. These two peptides work synergistically, generating 5x the benefits of either individually. This CJC-1295/Ipamorelin combination provides a more steady release of growth hormone production in the pituitary gland.  The result is progressive fat loss and increased protein synthesis thereby promoting muscle growth, improved quality of deep sleep, enhanced repair and recovery from workouts and injury, decreased joint pain, increased energy, increased collagen production and anti-aging benefits, and stronger immune and cardiovascular systems, all without the increase in appetite or other negative side effects.

FAQs

What is CJC 1295?

CJC-1295 is a modified form of growth hormone releasing hormone that acts to increase growth hormone production.

How does CJC 1295 work?

CJC-1295 works as a growth hormone secretagogue and an analogue of GHRH that produces an increase in growth hormone from the pituitary gland.  CJC 1295 has a lesser impact on IGF-1 levels when compared to other growth hormone peptides.

What are the side effects of CJC 1295?

CJC-1295 allows the anterior pituitary to follow a more natural, pulsatile release of growth hormone, resulting in a lesser side effect profile.  It does not cause an increase in appetite, cortisol, prolactin, acetylcholine or aldosterone levels.  CJC 1295/Ipamorelin is commonly administered via subcutaneous injection which can result in a local, transient reaction including but not limited to redness, itching, soreness or bruising.  On rare instances CJC-1295 can cause flu-like symptoms including fatigue and body aches, headache, dizziness, nausea and flushing.  Should you experience any side effects while on CJC 1295, contact a medical provider immediately for further assistance.

How is CJC 1295 administered?

CJC-1295 is most frequently found in combination with Ipamorelin for increased effectiveness.  It is rarely prescribed individually.  While most medical professionals will prescribe CJC-1295/Ipamorelin in subcutaneous injection, at Re-new Institute we also offer convenient sublingual troches for those unable or hesitant to administer injections.

How is CJC 1295 dosed?

Like nearly all of the other growth hormone secretagogues and peptides, dosing of CJC-1295/Ipamorelin is dependent on the symptoms and goals of each patient.  Due to saturation points and the potential for receptor desensitization with CJC 1295/Ipamorelin, it is important to understand that more is not always better.  A Re-new Institute peptide trained physician can work with you to determine a plan to fit your goals.

How long can I take CJC 1295?

As with Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 optimal results are achieved when taken consistently and consecutively for 6 months.  It is safe to stay on long term. However, with combination therapy of CJC 1295/Ipamorelin, there is the risk of decreased effectiveness over time with continued use.  For this reason, it is imperative that you are followed by a medical professional to ensure proper timing and adequate dosing of CJC-1295/Ipamorelin therapy.

Can CJC 1295 be combined with other therapies?

CJC-1295 is nearly always prescribed in combination with Ipamorelin.  This is due to the low side effect profile of both and the ability for a more consistent, steady release of growth hormone production by the pituitary gland.  CJC-1295/Ipamorelin is also generally safe with most other medical conditions and can be used in conjunction with hormone replacement therapies to optimize results.  As always, optimal results are achieved with regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle including well-balanced diet.  Consult a physician at Re-new Institute to discuss your personal medical history and goals, for a plan designed just for you.

Am I candidate for treatment with CJC 1295?

Generally speaking, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin is safe for both men and women over the age of 25.  Therapy is typically avoided in anyone with active cancer, including pituitary adenoma.  A complete history and physical with a Re-new physician, as well as some basic blood work, will help determine if you are a candidate for treatment.  Contact Re-new Institute today to schedule your consultation.

What are the benefits of CJC 1295/Ipamorelin?

Growth Hormone is integral in the human body, spanning from cell reproduction and cell regeneration to maintaining normal body structure and metabolism. Treatment with CJC-1295/Ipamorelin allows for a more selective and steady increase in growth hormone production without negatively affecting the natural pulse of growth hormone release. CJC/Ipamorelin is well-tolerated and safe with benefits including anti-aging, improved sleep, increased collagen production, decreased body fat, reduction in weight, increased lean muscle mass, increased repair and regeneration, decreased joint pain, increased energy, improved cognition and many others.
