Melissa Prickett, Nurse Practitioner
Melissa is a family practice nurse practitioner. She is determined to help clients feel their best and help navigate clients through their health journey together. She is focused on giving individualized care and promoting an environment of education and autonomy. Her interests include: hormone replacement, aesthetic procedures, primary care, nutrition, and hair restoration.

Melissa is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska where she knew from a young age that caring for people was her passion. She started in her healthcare path as a certified nursing assistant learning the ropes of the medical field. She completed her licensed practical nursing degree at Southeast Community College in 2011. She launched herself into learning anything and everything she could about primary care and how to care for the individual not just an age or gender.
Melissa graduated from Clarkson College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked in the Pediatric medical-surgical floor initially out of school then transferred to the Pediatric ICU at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. She later helped to establish and open a new Pediatric ICU at Boy’s Town National Research Hospital. She went on to complete her Masters Degree in Nursing from Clarkson College in 2019 specializing in Family Practice. She started her nurse practitioner career working in neurology where she learned that if the brain is not happy then nothing else in the body is going to function appropriately.
Melissa had found herself struggling with low energy, brain fog, and substantial hair loss especially after having back to back pregnancies. She, herself, was a patient at Re-new initially and recognizes the need for hormonal supplementation along with instituting a healthy lifestyle. She is determined to help clients feel their best and help navigate clients through this new health journey together. She is focused on giving individualized care and promoting an environment of education and autonomy. Her interests include: hormone replacement, aesthetic procedures, primary care, nutrition, and hair restoration.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two little boys. She is an avid Peloton biker, loves to bake, decorate her house, go to concerts, and spend time with friends. She believes that life is a balancing act but taking care of yourself first will make you a better individual to everyone around you! She is beyond excited to get to work along side the other amazing providers and nurses at this clinic.
